"Oh..... the Charade!"

Today is Movie Monday!!!! Today's movie Charade (1963), is a delightful comedy thriller 'stylishly' starring Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant. (perhaps two of the most elegant screen stars ever.....) Audrey Hepburn's clothes were done by none other than Givenchy. Hepburn sports  several beautiful coats and dresses tailored beautifully by the [now] iconic fashion house. The couturier utilized a streamlined silhouette with simple (sometimes belted) sheaths paired with adorable coordinating overcoats. The  structured hats were used to complete the elegant looks. The credit for Mr. Grant's wardrobe is not given, which is unfortunate as his simple chic elegance dripped from the screen. It was also cool to see these two in  an 'action' film. ..smile....
