Movie Monday- The Pleasure of His Company

The Pleasure of His Company movie
Today's featured vintage movie is The Pleasure of His Company (1961), starring Fred Astaire and Debbie Reynolds. The fabulous Edith Head provided the beautiful costumes for the picture and even had a cameo as the wedding gown designer. The entire movie is beautiful from the decor to the decorum, with all of the ladies dressed as such, taking us back to a time when 'making out' was considered 'making love'. Lets take a look at some of the standout looks from the film.
Debbie Reynolds(Jessica) is fitted for her wedding gown, Edith Head in a real life role, the dress designer.

Dressed for dinner, Lilli Palmer gives us 1960s glamour with a fitted skirt under a chiffon bubble skirt. I love the raised dot chiffon from that era!
